    The Rally

    SOITC, the only official association of DRV owners, invites you to join us at the 2024 International Rally in Sevierville, Tennessee. Or as we say in the south, "Come sit a spell with us" at the Ridge Resort. It's just down the road a piece from lots of great places, including Dollywood and the Great Smoky Mountains. Sevierville is just off Interstate 40, near Knoxville.

    Let's have some fun together! Activities at the rally are chosen to help you meet new friends and understand the workin's of your DRV 5th Wheel. They include:

    • Manufacturers, service technicians and other owners will share the tips and tricks they've learned to make travel safer, easier, more reliable and ultimately more fun! These seminars are especially valuable to new owners. 
    • At group meals and happy hours you will meet kindred spirits with tales of the road. 
    • DRV will show the newest additions to the family! 
    • Join the annual SOITC business meeting for important updates on this organization.

    Pre-Rally Activities

    We are also planning a group outing at Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner Show on Saturday April 27, 2024. Registration is now open! 

    Don't forget the free ice cream social on Sunday, April 28 at 5:30.

    The Ridge Resort

    The Ridge Resort is an amazing resort!  Amenities include:

    • Huge sites with concrete pads make it a comfortable home for a week or longer!

    • Golf simulator (bring your own clubs)
    • Fur pals will enjoy our bark park area

    The SOITC group rate for your campsite is only $72.99 / night and The Ridge will extend that rate up to four nights beyond the rally for SOITC rally participants!

    Area Activities

    The area boasts more than 300 outlets, malls and boutiques from which to choose. You are bound to find the perfect souvenir or gift. If you are looking for something unique, you will find hand-blown glass, handmade pottery and many more arts & crafts. You will even find a store that celebrates Christmas year-round. Other are activities include:

    Rally Fees

      Your rally fee ($425 for member couples) includes at least nine catered meals including three dinners, some with professional entertainment. Prior to the rally there is an ice cream social on Sunday, April 28 at 5:30. You will also enjoy other dinners and happy hours.

      If you aren't an SOITC member, we would love to have you join us, a one-year membership is only $35 for new members! Far less than the non-member price! Join SOITC now!

      Rally check-in starts at 10:00 am on Monday, April 29. That evening (5:30 pm) enjoy a Southern Style Buffet Dinner to kick off the week with friends!

      Boat Rentals

      Didn’t bring a boat? We’ve got you covered there as well. We have kayaks, paddleboards, rowboats available for rent.

      Propane Station

      Out of propane? We’ve got you covered. Just pre-pay at the camp store and drop your tank off at the filling station. If you are staying with us, we’ll return your tank to your site after it’s filled.

      Laundry
      With our on-site laundry facilities, you don’t have to leave to find a laundromat. Change machine available, or use the PayRange app to pay with your phone.

      WiFi Access

      The Rally

      The SOITC Western Rally for 2024 will come to Southern Oregon. It will be at Seven Feathers RV Resort in Canyonville.  The dates are September 9 - 14, 2024. We invite you to join us for a week of fun!

      The Fees

      The Rally fee includes your site rental fee for 5 nights at this premium resort, a catered dinner, a lunch and 5 breakfasts. 

      Your registration will be confirmed when you pay the invoice. The total will be $435 (including 5 nights in the resort). Additional nights will be at the resort's regular rate of approximately $98 per night and must be paid directly to the resort.  Once you receive your SOITC invoice and confirmation, you will be contacted by the resort for additional night payment arrangements.  SOITC will advise the resort of your requested arrival and departure dates.

      Crater Lake NP

      If Casinos aren't your style, Crater Lake is about 2 1/2 hours away (130 miles). Crater Lake inspires awe.       Plays and Musicals

      The Oregon Shakespeare Festival is about 85 miles or 90 minutes down Interstate 5. This world class theater performs Shakespeare, and more modern plays and musicals. Lots of entertainment.  September shows include MacBeth, Coriolanus, Much Ado About Nothing, Behfarmaheen (If You Please), Lizard Boy, Jane Eyre, and Born with Teeth.  While you're there, stop at Harry and Davids for some fresh fruit!
