2019 SOITC South Central Region Fall Rally

It’s time to FALL in to what camping is all about.  Join us for daytime adventures and fireside evenings.  We have a marshmallow with your name on it.  

The official rally t-shirt may be ordered by contacting Stitches On The Road by email at stitchesontheroad@gmail.com with your size and quantity.  The Price is s-xl $15.00   2xl-up $18.00.  They accept checks or credit cards, ( 3% credit card fee is charged). Orders must be placed no later than September 21st.  

Saturday @3:00pm

All you can eat kettle cooked beef, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, bread, desert and drink.

7:30 pm Welcome meeting either by campfire at a designated site or in Rally room depending on weather.  

• 9:00 am depart for Cracker Barrel, 3261 William St, Cape Girardeau, MO. Followed by Bollinger Mill/Covered bridge Historical Site, 113 Bollinger Mill Rd, Burfordville, MO.  Bollinger Mill group rate is $4.00 ea. for 15 or more.  
• 4:00 pm.      “Ask Mr. Bill”.  If you have attended an international rally then you probably have heard Bill Codwise’s demonstration on “Behind the Gray Doors”.  Though this won’t be the full presentation, he will be here answering “what’s up with that”, “how do I” and “where is “ questions.

• 10:00 am       depart for Missouri Wall of Fame murals/Mississippi River water front/tour downtown Cape Girardeau.  
  
• 10:30 am       Visit Red House Interpretive Center, 128 Aquamsi St, Cape Girardeau, MO (45 Min).  ($1.00 voluntary donation per person).
• 11:15 am        Tour St Vincent’s Catholic Church, 119 South Spanish St, Cape Girardeau, MO (45 Min). (voluntary donation)
• 6:00 pm Dinner at 36 Bar and Restaurant 36 Main St, Cape Girardeau, MO

• 9:00 am depart for Bloomfield civil war cemetery, 18347 CR 517, Bloomfield, MO.
• 10:30 am depart for Stars & Stripes museum, 17377 Stars and Stripes Way, Bloomfield, MO (Voluntary donation)
• 12:30 pm depart for Lamberts for lunch, 2305 E Malone Ave, Sikeston, Mo

• 9:30 am depart for Trail of Tears State Park visitor center, 429 Moccasin Springs Rd, Jackson, MO
• 12:00 pm depart for picnic lunch at park.  When finished, Depart for scenic overlook in park. 101 Overlook Rd, Jackson, Mo  
• Possible camp fire at campground.

• 3:00 pm depart for Sandy’s Place Airport Restaurant, 860 Limbaugh Dr, Scott City, MO (Airport terminal).  Variety menu, cat fish dinner specials, approximately $11.00 per person plus drink 
• When finished depart for Isle of Capri Casino, 777 Main St, Cape Girardeau, MO

We have 13 spots still available at The Landing Point RV Park that will accommodate even the 44 footers.  The park is a 9/9/10 Good Sam park.   To make your park reservation please call 573-334-7878.  Be sure to tell them you are with the SOITC Rally.
